Raising breeding stock and meat for sale is an extension of providing delicious food for our own table. Lilac Hill Farm is located on a shale ridge with thin soil in central Pennsylvania. We use a combination of moveable pens, permanent pastures and temporary paddocks, as we rotate the animals around the farm so the sheep have plenty of room to graze while spreading their soil enriching manure.
